Wedding Budget
Your
wedding
budget is so very important. You
need
to shop around for prices for everything.
Unless you do this you will have an
unrealistic figure that you are
working to.
You
can let your
fingers do the walking for you by phoning many places.
You
need to
prioritize your wedding bookings, as some places, like where you wish
to have
the ceremony and reception, photographer, cars, flowers and cake are
normally
well booked in advance. Choose
the date
for your wedding but be prepared to have a second choice, just in case.
To
plan out your
wedding budget you need to know how much everything will cost. So start with the wedding
venues and their
menus, then the places where you wish to have the ceremony. Then the wedding
photographers, wedding car
hires, invitations, wedding cake and flowers.
You
also need to decide who pays for
what. What the
bride, bride’s parents,
groom, groom’s parents will foot the bill for. Here you need to take into
account how much
each will be able to
contribute and this is how your wedding budget is formed.
The above is the basic costings, of course
there are many more, like the wedding bands, costings for legal
documents,
wedding music, reception music, wedding party clothing, hair, make-up,
celebrant/pastor/minister, placecards, postage, Bomboniere, thank you
cards,
gifts for wedding party attendants, hens/bucks night.
Many
things on the list you may not need to
pay for, but put them down as well as anything else that you can thing
of, that
way you won’t get any unexpected
‘surprises’.
There you have it, start your wedding
budget and get off to a good start with your wedding plan. Now you are ready to get
on with your wedding bookings.
