Wedding Theme
This
is the fun
part of your special day, the wedding theme.
You
need to get
this in place very early on in your wedding plan.
What
theme?
There
is so much
to choose from. Maybe
you have had a
dream wedding in your mind for so long, then this is easy, follow that
but if
you haven’t and want something other than the traditional
then you can start
with the time of the year, be it spring, summer, autumn or winter.
Spring
could be
pretty, pastel, floaty, spring flowers, very soft delicate.
Summer
is hot and
vibrant, maybe the beach style wedding, need not be on the beach, the
decorations in the beach theme with tropical flowers and those
wonderful summer
colors.
Autumn
is the
wonderful autumn tones, golds, rusts, greens, warm browns, leafy and
warm.
Winter,
go all
out with the snow scene, doesn’t matter if it
doesn’t snow near you, the
effects could be draping white fabrics, crystals, lots of silver,
whites, clear
pale blues.
Then
there are
other themes like country/cottage, renaissance, mediaeval, your
favorite
movie/musical, your favorite flower, Hawaiian, German, Chinese, Indian,
Irish,
Scottish. This list
is almost endless.
The
most
important thing with theming your wedding is, it is what you and your
fiancé
want.
Once
you have this
theme in place you can start organizing the wedding ceremony because
without
the ceremony there won’t be a reception or anything else
related to a wedding
for that matter just a big party.
Where
you have
the wedding ceremony will be decorated
with your chosen theme and then
the theme is carried through to everything else.
The
wedding theme
will determine so much, your color scheme, your outfit styles, where
you have
your photos taken, your cake, cars, flowers etc.
It
all has to fit
into your wedding theme so once again the wedding plan comes into play,
that
all important wedding plan.
